MSU Student Union Bldg, 7 p.m.
MSU Students are hosting the Spartan Remix event for new and returning students, faculty, and staff.
This event brings diverse communities together to both honor traditions of various communities while jointly creating a celebration of all communities.
Spartan Remix combines welcome receptions for the CORES (Council of Racial and Ethnic Students) and LBGT communities, and now includes international students from the International Student Association (ISA), and visiting international scholars from the Humphrey Fellows Program and from the Visiting International Professionals Program (VIPP).
Regarding the vision for Spartan Remix, student planners explained that at the end of the day, we all share one common identity: Spartans. As with music, the “Remix” aspect of the name is the expression of blending various forms of being a Spartan.
Please join us on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 7 p.m. in the MSU Student Union.
