The Office of Spartan Experiences is a part of Student Affairs at Michigan State University where encouraging student success and integrating the educational focus is part of every Spartan journey. The OSE supports students as they adjust to college life through leadership development programs, involvement in student organizations, participation in student government, and discovering their new home during Fall Welcome. The OSE staff is dedicated to helping Spartans successfully transition to MSU while empowering them to build a meaningful and lasting legacy throughout their time on campus. The Office of Spartan Experiences strives to:
- Engage students in active learning and encourages scholarship;
- Prepare students for leadership roles within the University and future work/community settings;
- Enhance the educational environment by promoting, educating, and facilitating campus-wide understanding of students’ rights responsibilities, and freedoms; and
- Conduct research studies to further knowledge of current and future college students for disseminations through outreach relationships.
